Amrita Sarkar is the Senior Venture Capital Business Development Manager for AWS France since July 2019. She spent several years as an Investment Director at ALIAD Venture Capital, the CVC arm of the Air Liquide Group, where she led investments in Healthcare, AgTech and IoT and served on numerous boards. She currently oversees the relationship with France’s top ten VC funds and helps their portfolio startups scale using AWS. A mathematician by training, Amrita holds a PhD from New York University and an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs. She is a Techstars Mentor and was ranked by Forbes in 2018 as one of the top women disrupting Tech in France.
BARTOSZ JAKUBOWSKI

Passionate about SaaS and automation, decentralization technologies and tech-enabling of the outsiders, Bartosz mostly covers French, Belgian and Polish startup ecosystems. He loves to write and we can’t wait to get his opinion about how Alven handles the current situation as a fund.

Fred is a rockstar in the European VC industry. He has been a board member for companies including Dailymotion, Deliveroo and PriceMinister. He’s led many rounds and observed startups from early stages to global expansion. He’s now the founder of Stride.VC, an energetic team composed of Pia d'Iribarne, Fred, and Harry Stebbings, strongly proclaiming that “dissenters are welcome”. No bullshit, total honesty and strong claims on the VC world are expected with Fred.

After a few years in London working in Investment Banking, Bertrand moved to Berlin to explore what the startup scene had to offer. In august 2019 he got introduced to ConsciousGrowth and joined the company as 1st employee, in charge of developing the business.
ConsciousGrowth is building the first Conscious Entrepreneurship Bank with founder-friendly, non-dilutive lending as its first application. They currently support founders with 10k - 1m in funding - all without asking for equity, board seats, personal guarantees or warrants, enabling them to stay in control of their business and focus on what matters most to them: building a great company.
